Atlantic Highlands Resident Busted for Child Porn
Recently, a resident of Atlantic Highlands who was serving on the borough’s environmental commission was caught possessing and distributing child pornography online.

Man Charged with Possessing Child Pornography

A 60-year-old resident of the Atlantic Highlands was just taken into police custody when it was discovered his was both in possession of and distributing child pornography. He has been charged with two counts of second-degree child endangerment. Investigators discovered significant evidence proving he was distributing images and videos online that showed the sexual exploitation of a child. Some of the pornography also depicted children being abused.
Prior to these recent allegations, he was working as an alternate member of the Atlantic Highlands Environmental Commission. He was not a regular member nor was he serving on any other boards, but the environmental commission is already working towards removing him or allowing him to resign.
These allegations against him are very serious. If he is convicted, then he will be forced to register as a sex offender for life, remain on parole indefinitely and likely spend about five or ten years in jail per charge.
